Use of ozone therapy for oral health enhancement?
A bio-oxidative treatment, ozone therapy has the ability to fight bacteria, viruses and fungi along with its anti-hypoxic and anti-inflammatory characteristics. Ozone is an exceptional disinfectant compared to other antiseptics and can be used in dentistry for everything from wound healing to treating periodontal diseases and dental caries. Studies show that ozone treatment can also lead to an average decrease of 55% in dental hypersensitivity. Raven Colson, BSDH, RDH and Rosalie Forrester, EdD, RDH discuss the many benefits and sometimes risks of ozone therapy. (Decisions in Dentistry)

He shares his journey towards becoming entirely out of network within the next 18 months. “Don’t be afraid to choose your practice model — in or out of network — but always do your best for your patients," says Dr. Roman.
